I use the label “magic tricks” quite broadly here. This collection is actually a mixture of games, card tricks and stunts you can learn and perform in minutes. Rather than relying on slide-of-hand or custom props, the tricks I have compiled here use logic and mathematical principles. I believe these tricks are also a good way to show younger students how the maths they learn in lessons can be entertaining when reframed. Atleast for myself, seeing algebra and formulaic steps rebranded in party tricks was especially motivating.
